Politics and voting season can be 𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓯𝓾𝓵 and 𝓼𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓮 time for adults across the country. Unfortunately, it's the tension and anxiety that we can not completely shield children from feeling. H.A.N.DS is here to help share tips and trick on how to have important conversations with the kids in your life. Vote/voting: a way people share their ideas and opinions to help changes rules and laws
Tips:
When talking to young children kids about Politics use life experiences and examples that they can relate and understand. For example voting is like when we ask everyone what they want for dinner and you share your thoughts.
Although it is important to talk about politics in a honest and open manner with children it is very important to ensure you provide age appropriate and developmental appropriate information and answers.
