“Reshaping the community” was the driving force for H.A.N.D.S 2017 LLC. We want to leave a positive imprint on the children we work with so that it reflects in the community. We are proud to serve communities were there is a need for academic and social support. Helping Achieve New Developmental Stages 2017 LLC is not only a company that provides academic services for children and young adults; but also provides therapeutic services and community givebacks.

Our Founder Kianna J Thompson spent years designing the blueprints to an organization that provides the community with what it is lacking. With her experience working for the Stamford Public School District and volunteering with many programs geared toward children, she decided H.A.N.D.S 2017 LLC would be a step in the right direction. In 2017, H.A.N.D.S  launched its tutoring program and community givebacks. In 2020 H.AN.D.S launched its therapeutic services including individual, family and group sessions. Utilizing her B.S of Psychology and Sociology as well as M.S of Mental Health Counseling she understood the importance of developing a healthy, young mind. Striving to level the academic field H.A.N.D.S 2017 LLC set out to provide affordable, private tutoring lessons and college preparation using Orton Gillingham Strategies.

 Currently, working as a Licensed Professional Counselor she is passionate about working toward creating awareness of mental health and helping young children succeed regardless of the barriers they may face.
